Palisades at Fort Lee Historic Park is an appropriate
introduction to North Jersey and its highlands. Along
with state parks and nature centers, you can visit the
Sterling Hill Mining Museum and Franklin Mineral Museum
near Ogdensburg, go antiquing in Lafayette, or boating on
Lake Hopatcong.
